Week 4...Started Yesterday!

This week the program suggests 20 minutes of walking 4 times this week. I think I will be using the free run feature on Wii Fit this week to do this. I would like to be able to go outside and walk but I refuse to do that with the temperatures and ice.
This is a short post but I am a person of few words...and I have to go run. :0) October will be here before you know it and I sooooooooooo want to be able to say that I ran a 5k race!

  1. The Wii Fit sounds like a lot of fun. We have a Wii System but I have never seen Wii Fit, though some of my friends use it for daily exercise all the time. My last week was good and this week is going well too. It's a daily dedication and exercise in self discipline, I find. Good for the body and the mind. I continue to go outdoors for my exercise and I really like it that way. I know it's not for everyone but that's what this is all about. Do it at your own pace and adjust your exercise to your likes and needs. Keep pressing on!

  2. Well, hopefully this will work this time. I have been posting but they weren't working. Anyway, I have been doing really well. I started off with 20 minutes a day on the treadmill on the weight loss setting. This setting does different speeds during the time. It starts off with a slow walk, fast walk, then a run back to fast walk and run. You can really feel it. I did 25 minutes Tuesday, Wednesday and tonight but will not be able to do it Friday night because I will be in Halifax. Will probably try to do it on Saturday when I get back. I have also been watching what I'm eat and trying to drink lots of water. I'm really surprised at how much I am enjoying this. Please keep the comments coming. Can't wait tell we do the walk in September. Have a great weekend.
